The Process


Below is our admissions criteria:

  • New attorneys or attorneys making a career change
  • Law school program transcript – Resume/CV and cover letter
  • 2 Letters of Reference
  • Writing sample relevant to area of interest within intellectual property
  • Seeking only very serious candidates

  • Attorneys who desire mentorship, business development, and opportunities to practice

The Interview Process

Interview Process:

  • Program Coordinator/Managing Attorney
  • Assistant Managing Attorney
  • Advisory Board Members

What Happens After a Candidate Is Admitted?

Resident is assigned a mentor and a work space.  Program coordinator has discretion as to which work space is assigned.

  •    Small cubicle
  •    Large cubicle
  •    Office

The program is composed of the following components:

  1. Mentorship
  2. Business Development
  3. Opportunities to Practice

Residents who graduate this program have the opportunity to stay and become mentors to others as well and receive subsidized office space.
